Owner | Event Coordinator
Hi! My name is Hali Mynatt, owner of Hali Mae Events. I am married to my high school sweetheart, and my husband runs a small farm operation in Mooresville where we grow crops and raise cattle. I am a mom to 2 young children, Remi Jane and Warren Brooks and I love ALL things events!
I found my passion for events at a young age when I organized a benefit concert and auction to raise money for a friend who suffered injuries in a car accident. I began working as a college student for a prestigious Indianapolis catering company and my love for all things events grew even bigger!
Fast forward a couple years, I graduated from IUPUI with a bachelor’s degree in Event Management, and began my career as an Event Coordinator for a local non-profit shortly after. I now have over 9 years experience in the industry and coordinating weddings, social events, galas, golf outings, and more. I am excited to watch my education and experience come to fruition through this company!
I am eager to partner with you to make all your event dreams come true!
5 East Venue Manager | Event Coordinator
Hello! My name is Karen Crenshaw, venue manager of 5 East. I have been in a relationship with my best friend for the last 5 years and love traveling the world with him! We are currently halfway through our bucket list and hope to add more destinations to it in the future.
I recently graduated IUPUI with a bachelor's degree in Tourism, Events, and Sports Management and obtained certificates in Business Foundations and Tourism Planning and Development.
My love for events grew while traveling around the country working for a fundraising company. After watching charitable organizations raise funds for their causes, I realized I wanted to make a difference in the industry by planning those events! In August 2018, I was welcomed into the Hali Mae Events family as an intern and helped Hali coordinate various non-profit fundraising events and run 5 East. By January 2019, Hali officially hired me onas the venue manager for 5 East!
Let's get to planning!
