Hi! My name is Hali Mynatt, owner of Hali Mae Events.

I found my passion for events at a young age when I organized a benefit concert and auction to raise money for a friend who suffered injuries in a car accident. I began working as a college student for a prestigious Indianapolis catering company and my love for all things events grew even bigger!
​
I graduated from IUPUI with a bachelor’s degree in Event Management, and began my career as an Event Coordinator for a local non-profit shortly after. I now have over 10 years experience in the industry coordinating weddings, planning and executing social events, galas, golf outings, and more. I am excited to watch my education and experience come to fruition through this company!

Hi! Audrey here, Venue Manager of 5 East!
In 2011 when I had no idea what I "wanted to be when I grew up," I took an online quiz and the results pointed me toward Event Management. I had no idea that was even an option as a career and jumped right into the field. While persisting my Bachelor's Degree, I worked in hotels, restaurants, and banquet centers. After graduation from IUPUI in 2014 with my Event Management degree, I helped open an Event Center and Boutique Hotel in French Lick before turning my attention back to the Indianapolis area.
I have now been in the field for almost 10 years and am so happy I actually listened to that online quiz! I may not be the next Jennifer Lawrence (that was another quiz), but I would love to help you plan and execute your next event!
